The Georgia Archives hosts an in-depth discussion about Georgia prison systems with Michael W. Nail, Commissioner in the Department of Supervision; Kaye Minchaw, an independent researcher; Richard Becherer from The Chattahoochee Brick Company; and, Steve Engerrand, Deputy State Archivist, Georgia Archives. These experts are here to discuss the evolution of the adult correction system, one of the largest utilizers of convict labor, The Chattahoochee Brick Company, Hollywood’s role in reforming the Georgia prison system and prison records at the Georgia archives.
