40 Days of Giving

This holiday season, The Georgian Terrace Hotel and its restaurants - Livingston Restaurant + Bar and Edgar’s Proof and Provision - are running a 40 Days of Giving campaign to give back to the Atlanta veterans community through The Sotherly Foundation, which provides significant aid to veterans. The foundation was started in 2015 in order for Sotherly to take a more hands-on approach to making a difference in the communities surrounding their hotels, one family at a time. Each year, the Sotherly Foundation provides significant aid to one or more American veterans living in the communities around its hotels. Instead of taking a one-size-fits-all approach, they work directly with the veteran and his or her family to find out what they need most and to determine a strategy for meeting that need in the most lasting and meaningful way possible. All recipients are chosen by the Sotherly Foundation Board of Directors with assistance from qualified organizations like the United States Marine Corps Wounded Warrior Regiment.
