Percolate Panel

Artists and activists have long been comrades in resistance. And lately, in cities like Atlanta across the country and the world, plagued by such issues as gentrification, displacement and inequity, their struggles are one in the same. Hence the need for purposeful collaboration. That’s the intent behind Percolate, a panel discussion on community organizing in arts and activism. Moderated by Zahra Alabanza at WonderRoot, the panel will center on dialogue around ways for both groups to mobilize, coordinate efforts and create movements. Panelists include Bianca Campbell, Anna Simonton, Odetta Mac-Leish White, Sarah Belle Miles, and Ceylan Odunkesenler.
