The Spelman College Women’s Research and Resource Center hosts a conversation with women’s rights activist and journalist Gloria Steinem and social activist and author bell hooks. Steinem and hooks, both renowned pioneers in the Women’s Rights Movement, will discuss the Movement, and their literary careers, among other topics. A book signing for Steinem’s new book, My Life on the Road, will take place following the conversation.
