Two Swedish sisters make up First Aid Kit, a duo that stacks impossibly perfect vocal harmonies to build a wall of light and golden psych-folk sounds. The gals got their start as teenagers, recording songs in Stockholm’s Suburbia. A chance meeting with Conor Oberst in 2009 lead to later collaborations with Bright Eyes. Columbia Records released the decidedly more pop-driven but mature Stay Gold in June. Get enchanted with the sisters’ live show Sat., Nov. 1.
