Join the National Park Service for a great summer loop hike through the oak, hickory, and beech forest and Rhododendron/Mountain Laurel thickets along the ridges above Bull Sluice Lake. This is an excellent area for viewing wildlife. One of the park’s very impressive small “benchmark†streams will hopefully yield salamanders and other tiny organisms important to trout and the river ecosystem.
