For more than 35 years, Anne-Sophie Mutter has remained one of classical music’s greatest virtuoso violinists. Along with the performance of major traditional works, she is constantly exploring new repertoire territory for her audience. In November 2014, Mutter embarks on an international tour with an ensemble comprised of fourteen current and former scholarship students of the Anne-Sophie Mutter Foundation. The program includes Sebastian Currier’s Ringtone Variations for violin and double bass, a work commissioned by the Mutter Foundation; André Previn’s Violin Concerto No. 2, a US premiere; as well as Vivaldi’s Four Seasons.
