Daedelus, Daddy’s Groove, Kutski, Benasis, and more

From the venue:Electronic wizard Daedelus has been in the bleep-bloop game a good minute, dropping his first full-length, Invention, in 2002. That album’s title hardly affords the artist, Alfred Darlington, his due credit. Darlington crafts his sound by employing experimental audio samples from the 1930s and 1940s, layered vocals, and avant-garde percussion. His latest effort, the acoustic-synth-fusing The Light Brigade, dropped last month on Brainfeeder. See Daedelus darting across his soundboard in a sure-to-be-spooky show on Fri., Oct. 31.
