Basil Watson’s Open Studio

Open Studio will feature the work of renowned artisan Basil Watson, who will be showcasing bronze, bronze composite, stone and Terracota sculptures. Strictly a figurative artist, his work ranges from large scale to small pieces. His sculptures are strongly influenced by Rodin, however, being a master in his own right, there is no mistaking his genius at work. Basil will also display his drawings, which highlight the beauty of economy of line while movement and grace saturate the compositions.The event’s guest artist, Kai Watson, will exhibit oil on canvas paintings that encompass landscape, still life and portrait arrangements.
