<br>Breathe Deep Atlanta is a grassroots event that began in 2009 in memory of a father lost to lung cancer. The event is planned and managed by a small group of committed individuals joined together to fight America’s leading cancer killer. Since its inception, the event has raised $250,000 for research, education, and support programs while attracting hundreds of participants each year. What started as an event in memory of one person has grown to honor lung cancer survivors in the community, remember loved ones lost to lung cancer, and provide hope to patients and their families.
