Join the National Park Service for a campfire, guided night hike, and program presented on the upper deck of the Center’s Lodge. Enjoy the crisp autumn air as you roast marshmallows over an open fire and walk along a forest trail enjoying the nocturnal sights and sounds. Discover new facts about the beavers and other mammals of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area and their nocturnal habits. With skulls, skins, and other cool stuff learn about the largest rodent in the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area as well as a few other mammals that are active in the autumn. Receive a complimentary Chattahoochee River Journal with wildlife lists and images of life size paw prints. Enjoy the campfire, the marshmallows, and the night time beauty of the Chattahoochee.
