From the venue:
Face of Knives and the Bakery Present:
Sarah Louise (Thrill Jockey Records): Enigmatic, esoteric, and magical, the work of Sarah Louise spans from soothing ambience to tangled and Appalachian folk and beyond. She has been described as a “cosmic shepherd, with a voice as lithe as her guitar playing is impressionistic”. Her recently released “Nighttime Birds and Morning Stars” is a transportive work that leaves the listener transfixed and utterly planted in some surreal ‘other’.
