Winning at Living aims to educate and mobilize community members, faith and political leaders, businesses, health providers, students and other stakeholders around the HIV epidemic and other health disparities in order to address the needs of the most vulnerable populations.

This year’s Winning at Living Conference will feature five powerful, free sessions led by leaders in their respective fields. Topics include social determinants of health; maternal health and reproductive justice for black mothers; the state of black health; unpacking the new HIV strategy that has been proposed by the current administration; and debunking myths around mental health. The WAL Conference is an important component of NBLCA’s program to help end the epidemic, and/or significantly reduce the number of new infections by 2020, in alignment with the National HIV/AIDS Strategy (NHAS), Healthy People 2020 and Ending The HIV Epidemic (ETHE) action plans.
