One of the most over-looked films of the 70s is this big-budget suspense thriller directed by William Friedkin (The French Connection, The Exorcist) and adapted by Walon Green (The Wild Bunch) from the French classic, Wages of Fear.
Roy Scheider stars in this tale of a group of down-on-their-luck foreigners in a South American country, hired to transport explosives to a jungle oil well fire.
