That’s not to say they aren’t serious about their music — the two also studied music technology and business together at Middle Tennessee University. Since then, they have used this winning combination of fun and hard work to become the massively successful indie-pop stars they are today. Their music has foundations in indie-pop, but includes elements of funk, electronic, and dance, with tongue-in-cheek style lyrics.
