FUNK CAKE
Bandleader and trumpeter Alex Rodiek officially launched FunkCake in Nov 2016 and they’ve been quietly gaining notoriety as one of Atlanta’s sought after bands. Comprised of top freelancers they bring the sizzle to their live shows by combining genre-bending arrangements with virtuosic soloing. You can catch them rocking out, especially during Mardi Gras season, or performing at some of the best-known venues in Atlanta and were even selected to perform a private party for the one and only Robert Downey Jr.
