Women in Horror Film Festival

From the venue:Founded in 2016 by filmmakers Vanessa Ionta Wright and Samantha Kolesnik, the Women in Horror Film Festival is a filmmaker-, screenwriter-, and community-focused festival that celebrates women’s contribution to film. The official lineup includes four feature films: Black Lake, Cold Wind Blowing, Mass Hysteria, and The Dark Red. There will also be 86 short films screening from around the world, including the Georgia premiere of actress Heather Langenkamp’s directorial debut, Washed Away. Celebrity guests in addition to Langenkamp (Nightmare on Elm Street) include The Id star Amanda Wyss, and writer Adam Marcus (Texas Chainsaw 3D).
