Join us Saturday, September 11 in vibrant downtown East Point for the 50th anniversary of the Sickle Cell 5k Race/Walk!

As one of Georgia’s longest, consecutively running road races, the 5k will be benefitting the Sickle Cell Foundation of Georgia’s “Camp New Hope”: a week-long camp that fosters independence, self-esteem and friendships for children with sickle cell disease.

Renowned fitness instructor, DaShaun Johnson (aka “The Guru of Abs”), will be headlining the event. Sickle cell testing will also be offered.

Online registration will close at 12 p.m. on Thursday, September 9. Day-of registration opens at 7 a.m., and the race/walk kicks off at 9 a.m. in front of East Point City Hall
