Wild Heaven Beer and Fauna & Fig Present an Ikebana Flower Arranging Workshop

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and Wild Heaven Beer and Fauna & Fig are presenting an Ikebana Flower Arrangement Workshop on February 10th from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the West End brewery. Led by Tabatha Terpstra, owner of Fauna & Fig, guests will learn the art of the Japanese practice of flower arranging that emphasizes form, balance and harmony. Using Valentine’s Day flora favorites including roses, baby’s breath, carnations and a mix of tropical stems, each participant will learn the basics of using floral foam, inventive ways to style flowers, how to create an arrangement with balance and form. Attendees will receive $1 off of all craft beer drafts,10% off of food, and will take home a 12-stem arrangement, a vase, a few brand new skills, and floral foam to use for a second arrangement.
