Drawing upon an eclectic range of musical influences, Şahin integrates avant-garde, post-Bop, modernist, electronic, and non-Western practices in a rigorous exploration of the human condition and its potential for collective imagination.
Şahin visits Emory as a Schwartz Artist in Residence during CompFest 2022. As part of this residency, he will work with Emory music students on improvisation, electronic music, and composition, and he will present two concerts under the title Flow State
