22q at the Zoo Worldwide Awareness Event

Join people with 22q11.2 syndromes and their families, friends, and supporters in gathering at Zoo Atlanta to have fun and raise awareness for rare genetic conditions.

The International 22q11.2 Foundation is proud to bring the twelfth annual Worldwide Awareness Day to Zoo Atlanta. In 2019, a record 115 cities celebrated the Worldwide Awareness Day, posting photos from Down Under to the South Pacific and everywhere in between. This year, the global 22q community will gather for the first live event in three years.

Tickets for members of the 22q community will be available from 10am to 1pm at the Zoo Atlanta entrance. Participants will attend Zoo Atlanta’s 11am Fantastic Flights show at the World of Wild pavilion. Afterwards, group photos will be taken, and a community lunch will be held at the KidZONE picnic area.
