Watercolor Studio Class at Marietta Cobb Museum of Art

Thursdays 1:30-3:30pm, August 18 – September 22, 2022 (6 weeks)

Watercolor is unlike any other medium available to artists. It can be used to create the most delicate, spontaneous, and harmonious works of art! In this course, I’ll show you how to utilize the freedoms and restrictions of watercolor to create beautiful art that is expressive, spontaneous, and filled with the unique shimmer of color that watercolor can produce! Emphasis will be placed on students learning to “see” shape, color, composition, and light, and expressing this vision with watercolor. Students will receive both individual and group instruction. For beginners and advanced students.
