CL RECOMMENDS
CL Critic Kevin C. Madigan Recommends: The Museum is celebrating Halloween for the entire month of October with “fang-tastic activities” including a Halloween Dance Party, Storytime and a Ghoul Drop. The highlight is Trick-or-Treat on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. “Families can expect fun, hands-on play, candy galore, a live DJ to play all the Halloween hits and to trick-or-treat throughout the museum.” — KCM

From the venue:

It’s spooky season at CMA and we’re celebrating with fang-tastic hands-on fun in Jane’s Innovation Station, and at the Science Bar, Art Studio and CMA Stage!

On weekdays during Session A enjoy our Building Blocks Early Learning activities upstairs.

Ideal for children ages 1 to 5, our Building Blocks programs are facilitated by trained professionals guiding developmentally appropriate, play-based activities that promote preschool and kindergarten readiness. Each activity aligns with Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDs) for pre-schoolers.

This month’s activities target fine-motor skills, small-muscle strength and control, hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, simple problem-solving, and learning and naming parts of the body.
