CL Critic Hal Horowtiz Recommends: Subtitled “Merry Lil’ Woohoo” and described as “soulful holiday favorites with a tribute to the songs of the Carpenters” this seems like a diverse and family friendly evening with one of Atlanta’s most soulful blues, jazz and funk women leading her longtime band. She also promises “special guests” for this Christmas themed evening. Sounds like fun. And those once schlocky Carpenters songs sound much better after all these years. — HH
