CRITIC’S PICK: Australia’s Paper Kites revel in an atmospheric, laconic, and hauntingly melodic country rock. They tour supporting a wonderful new album At the Roadhouse with some extra members that help flesh out the sound, but it’s frontman singer/songwriter Sam Bentley’s evocative songs and voice that push their material from good to great. The openers’ acoustic folk pop with sumptuous harmonies are rightly compared to the Everly Brothers. A great double bill. — Hal Horowitz
