Children’s Museum of Atlanta is Celebrating Friendship with August Programming

Children’s Museum of Atlanta commemorates Friendship Month, National Dog Day, and the back-to-school season with a jam-packed schedule of events throughout August. Featured activities include interactive building projects at Jane’s Innovation Station and discover sound through a cup phone activity at the Science Bar. In partnership with volunteer group Canine Companions, families can cuddle with adoptable friends on National Dog Day. Preparation for the school year begins with self-portraits at the Museum’s School House. A Sensory Friendly Session is offered on August 6 to allow sensory-sensitive kids to enjoy all the museum has to offer in a comfortable setting.
