Atlanta Wind Symphony, Buford HS Wind Ensemble: “A Happy Holiday”

Ring in the holiday spirit with the Atlanta Wind Symphony and the Buford High School Wind Ensemble. The Atlanta Wind Symphony’s community outreach programs include inviting outstanding high school ensembles to share concerts. This is the second concert collaboration for the two groups.

Selections to be performed include:

• Deck the Halls “A Merry Fugue” - Hershy Kay, arr. Clare Grundman
• Lasting Light - Viet Cuong
• A Home Alone Christmas - John Williams, arr. Lavender
• Farandole from “L’Arlésienne”  - Georges Bizet, arr. Bocook
• A Festive Christmas - Kenny Bierschenk
• Sleigh Ride - Leroy Anderson

The AWS Clarinet Choir will also perform holiday selections in the lobby prior to the concert.

While the December 3 holiday concert is free, tax-deductible donations are appreciated and accepted at the concert, via mail, or online. The bands will be collecting new, unwrapped toys to donate to Toys for Tots.
