Holiday Tree Lighting

Join Atlanta History Center as it kicks off the holiday season with our second-annual tree lighting ceremony of our 50-foot Christmas tree in Veterans Park, followed by special performances of music, a cash bar, pictures with Santa, and more in the museum.

Guests can come early and enjoy dinner at Souper Jenny! For this event only, Souper Jenny will serve a limited dinner menu from 5 p.m.-8:30 p.m.

AHC members are also invited to a member-only event, from 5 p.m.-7 p.m., prior to the tree lighting ceremony, which will include festive pictures with Santa in front of the famous “Pink Pigs” (photo ops only; rides not available), a craft activity for kids, reduced-rate cash bar, music, and more. Members will also have early access and a reserved area to watch the tree lighting ceremony. Tickets are $25 for adults and children, $20 for members and $15 for insiders. Children ages 3 and under are free. Chairman’s Circle, Phoenix Society and 1926 Circle Insider members receive 4 tickets with their membership and can purchase additional tickets at the member rate.
