The show-stopping Joe Gransden returns to Callanwolde for a magical holiday performance at WINTER HOUSE 2023! Get ready to experience Joe’s magical trumpeted cheer in the Mansion’s historic courtyard space.

The concert will be held in the Indoor Courtyard and begins at 7 p.m. Please arrive early to accommodate check-in, finding seats, and a trip to the drink and snack bar. Our Artist Market will be open before, during, and after the show.

Band leader Joe Gransden has performed worldwide and released 16 CDs under his own name. Renowned first for the hard bop approach of his trumpet, Gransden’s singing voice has been compared to that of Chet Baker and Frank Sinatra. “When I first heard Joe nine years ago, I immediately thought of Chet,” says Jazziz magazine critic James Rozzi, “but lately his voice has taken on its own style with a deeper resonance. His trumpet has always alternated lyricism with an aggressive, angular approach. He has the ability to cover the gamut of emotions.”

No outside food or beverages permitted. Box meals from Gabriel’s Catering are available for pre-purchase as an add on for ticket buyers. Orders must be placed by Monday 11/27 at 12 p.m. and will be available for pick-up at the performance. Wine by the bottle or glass, beer, water, and soft drinks are available for purchase at the Callanwolde Bar.
