From the venue:

The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation is pleased to announce Rhodes Hall, Atlanta’s “Castle on Peachtree,” is once again open for tours, offering a glimpse inside one of the most opulent of the large mansions that once overlooked Atlanta’s famous thoroughfare.

Constructed between 1902 and 1904, the Romanesque Revival mansion was built for Rhodes Furniture Company founder Amos Giles Rhodes and his wife Amanda. No expense was spared in its construction as Rhodes Hall was built with technological innovations that did not appear in other American homes at the turn of the century — electricity, electric call buttons in most rooms, and a security system. Today it is one of the finest intact expressions of late Victorian architectural design in the city and serves as the headquarters of the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation.

Guided tours of Rhodes Hall are offered every third and fourth Saturday of the month at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 12:30 p.m. Tours last approximately 45 minutes.
