CRITIC’S PICK: Philip Bowen and Julia DiGrazia at Eddie’s Attic — West Virginia native Philip Bowen brings his 21st century Appalachian chops to Eddie’s Attic on Sat., Jul. 6 with special guest Julia DiGrazia, a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and Berklee College of Music grad from Phoenix, Arizona. Both Bowen and DiGrazia are among a new generation of progressive Nashville-based artists on the Americana roots scene. 2023 was a breakout year for Bowen, during which he shared the stage with Darius Rucker, was a semifinalist on Season 18 of America’s Got Talent, played at Americanafest and released his debut album, Old Kanawha.. DiGrazia’s current projects include touring with Evan Honer and playing fiddle with Josh Hughett at local Nashville bars, such as The Valentine and Cerveza Jacks. — Doug DeLoach
