Twelfth Night tells the story of Viola, a young heroine who washes up on the shores of Illyria, disguises herself as a man, is sent to court a countess and falls hard for a Duke. As she navigates this strange and wonderful new land, she finds her true self and true love in the process.
TWELFTH NIGHT asks us to Wonder…Who Do We Want To Be?

This musical adaptation of TWELFTH NIGHT uses the original text from Shakespeare’s play with brand new music, and modern lyrics that run the length of contemporary musical theatre – from folk ballad to power ballad – that keep the stakes feeling high and the story feeling brand new!

Featuring an original jazz-funk score by Shaina Taub that will remind you of HADESTOWN and NATASHA, PIERRE, AND THE GREAT COMET OF 1812, TWELFTH NIGHT is a show for anyone who loves the sound of contemporary musical theatre, and using the Bard’s original dialogue inspires love for anyone who is a fan of the classic plays as well!
