Please join Skyland Trail on Monday, May 13, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Atlanta History Center for a conversation about resilience with Dr. Michael Ungar, founder and Director of the Resilience Research Centre at Dalhousie University. In 2022, Dr. Ungar was ranked the number one Social Work scholar in the world in recognition of his ground-breaking work as a family therapist and resilience researcher. That work has influenced the way human development and organizational processes are understood and studied globally.
Dr. Ungar will lead an expert panel including Dr. Ben Hunter, Skyland Trail Charles B. West Chief Medical Officer; Dr. Linda Grabbe, Professor Emeritus, Emory School of Nursing, Psychiatric and Family Nurse Practitioner; and Tera Carter Certified Peer Specialist and Skyland Trail Alumni Program Coordinator.
