Leah, a newly-licensed mortician, considers herself a champion of the dead. Brooke, recently deceased, is the first corpse of Leah’s career. But for Brooke, death is not the end of her anxiety, fear, and loneliness. And for Leah, the body in the mortuary is not the end of her time with Brooke. A play about love, loneliness, and Kabbalah, Dybbrooke tells the story of a possession driven by the need to feel loved.
