How does hearing a great poem inspire visual art? How does inspiring visual art trigger a great piece of performance poetry? Through examining these interrelations, aspiring artists and poets will gain a better understanding of how each art form can be enhanced by a greater understanding of the other.
This class creatively combines spoken word poetry and visual art techniques.
- Learn how to craft a spoken word piece
- Learn different techniques of painting
- Learn to transfer inspiration through Art & Spoken Word
- Learn performance/public speaking techniques
Participants are required to attend all sessions of the course.
