To his credit, he has never been predictable, recording a techo disc and then a bluegrass one, so this isn’t all that unusual. He will feature new music from Passage Du Desir, a recent release credited to both his name and his alias Mr. Blues Skies. Regardless of this confusion, the album is a sweetly melodic example of contemporary country rock, a little heavy on the easy listening side, but pleasant and professional. — Hal Horowitz
