Horse Bitch / The Review / The Wholesome Boys
From the venue:
Event Description
Denver based emo-tonk honky-cuck, Horse Bitch. Country-rock stylings with synchronized guitar lead lines, fiddle, guitar, and keyboard solos, and LOTS of bubbles. The live show is a sweat lodge of ineptitude, lawlessness, broken instruments and band members, and ultimately is a stalemate to see whether listener or performer will blink first—everybody sort of leaves at some point tired or bored; a microcosm of life’s principal inevitability.
The Review is a 3 piece indie punk band based in Atlanta, comprised of Ben on bass, Matt on drums, and Eli on lead guitar/vocals. We have been playing together for almost three years and with tons of energy on stage, catchy songs, and a chicken puppet we’re sure to give you a great performance! Satisfaction guaranteed!
Telling tales from their upbringing in the Rust Belt and on the bayou, and continuing in the tradition of American storytellers like Bruce Spingsteen and Brandon Flowers, The Wholesome Boys have crafted a sound for their debut album that feels both contemporary and timeless. Set to propulsive backbeats and echoing guitars, The Wholesome Boys went from waiting tables in Nashville to piloting their van 12,000 miles, playing over 70 shows and supporting artists like Morgan Wade, Muscadine Bloodline, and Clint Black.
