Atlanta-born and Chicago-based drummer and composer, Alvin Cobb, Jr., will be celebrating the recent release of his critically-acclaimed debut album, You’ll Need This Later, with his first public performance in Atlanta in more than a decade. He will be joined by his Chicago-based trio, consisting of bassist / vocalist Katie Ernst and pianist Julius Tucker. In addition to this recent release, this trio has been featured on NPR and was recently nominated for Chicago’s Best Jazz Ensemble by the Chicago Reader.$10 Adv – $15 DoorsDoors @ 7 PM
