City Winery presents Blues Brunch featuring Diane Durrett & Soul Suga on October 26th at 12pm!
Diane Durrett, renowned singer-songwriter and producer, showcases her vocal prowess once more on her upcoming 10th American Roots release, “Sweet Georgia Blues,” available August 2nd. Known for her ability to belt gut-bucket blues and her velvet voice on feel-good singles like ‘Chasing Sunsets’ and ‘The Sweet Spot,’ each track on the album tells a story with authentic meaning. Recorded with her band Soul Suga’, featuring drummer Melissa Junebug, keyboardist Yoel Yehuda, and bassist Fuji Fujimoto, the album also includes special guest appearances by Georgia artists such as Tinsley Ellis, Eddie 9 Volt, and Joey ‘Papa J Sez’ Sommerville, as well as New Orleans Grammy-winning trombonist Craig Klein.
