CRITIC’S PICK: La Lom, National Reserve, Terminal West—Their name is short for Los Angeles League of Musicians and they appear at this larger venue after just one show at the more intimate EARL a few months ago. The all-instrumental trio mixes surf with noir, Spaghetti Western sounds, tropicalia, Latin topped with a large heaping of reverb to create soundtracks to movies that haven’t been made yet but you’ll want to see when they are.
