CRITIC’S PICK: Resilient Earth, Science Gallery Atlanta - Yes, but how resilient is it? Having now left the environs of Pullman Yards, Emory University’s Science Gallery is launching its new home in Northlake with this complex, immersive exhibit on the state of the world’s ecosystem. But it’s not just about showcasing sustainability, we are told; it’s more of a call to action regarding the health of our planet “while discovering your own path forward toward a more resilient future.” Various facets of the subject are addressed, such as the threat of plastics and paper production, as well as futuristic designs for flood-resistant settlements. ‘Sacred Breaths’, ‘Keeping Our Cool’ and ‘If We Stay Still’ are other ominous titles in the expansive project. - Kevin C. Madigan
