(cat)Fight! For Your Rights! A Benefit For Reproductive Justice

The almighty Catfight! has put together an all-ages benefit show for this Saturday, Oct. 5, at eyedrum art and music gallery, featuring an amazing line-up of bands joining together to raise money and support for Planned Parenthood. At a time when women’s healthcare and the right to choose are are being quickly eroded by politicians, these bands are screaming, “Just say no!” choosing not to go back!
The scheduled set times are as follows, but one would imagine them to be more approximate than exact.
2:00 PM — Doors open
2:30 PM — Brower Sisters Band
3:30 PM — Catch these hands
4:30 PM — Catfight!
5:30 PM — Magnapop
6:30 PM — Pylon Reenactment Society
7:45 PM — Foxy Jones
8:45 PM — Janie Danger
9:45 PM — Nihilist Cheerleader
10:30 PM — Nerdboink
Emcees for the event are Gayle Rej and Barb Hayes. DJ interludes throughout the day will be provided by Nerdboink, who will also close out the night.
While seeing bands that usually perform at venues restricted to those 21-and-older, attendees will be able to register to vote, learn more about Planned Parenthood and Georgia Harm Reduction Coalition, and eat and drink while enjoying the festivities. Admission is $10 for students, $20 for the general population. Expect a variety of informations tables to be set up and food trucks at the ready.
