The zany minds behind Shame of Thrones: The Musical!, Save the Video Store, and Funyuns & Flagons are thrilled to announce an exciting new production: ‘’A Midsommar Night’s Dream’‘. This dark comedy show promises to captivate audiences with its bold and unexpected blend of Shakespearean romance and cult horror, arriving just in time for Halloween.
The show puts a fresh spin on Shakespeare’s ‘’A Midsummer Night’s Dream’‘, transporting the infamous lovers to a rural Swedish village, à la Ari Aster’s modern horror classic ‘’Midsommar’‘, where a pagan cult is preparing for a sinister mid-summer festival. What begins as a romantic escape quickly spirals into a violent, raunchy, and hilarious battle for survival—all in the name of love. This production will take the stage at Limelight Theatre for two weekends in October.
