The Producers, a new wave and power pop band from the 1980s, will be performing live at The Back Porch Concert Series at From the Earth Brewing on October 25th. The concert starts at 8 p.m. The band, originally formed as a Beatles cover band named Cartoon, transitioned to creating their own material and performing in Atlanta nightclubs. Their success led to a quick signing with CBS subsidiary Portrait Records, under the guidance of producer Tom Werman. The original lineup, featuring Van Temple, Kyle Henderson, Wayne Famous, and Bryan Holmes, remains intact.
