The four candles of Advent—hope, love, joy, and peace—serve as inspiration for this concert of music spanning eight centuries. Now an annual Amethyst tradition, this candlelight concert includes shawm, bells, and opportunities for the audience to sing along. Adrin Akins (countertenor), Jody Miller (recorder), Marcy Jean Brenner (viola da gamba), and Alexandra Dunbar (harpsichord and organ).
$20 general; $10 for discounted categories; no one turned away due to inability to pay.
