CRITIC’S PICK - Lilly Hiatt, Suzie Chism, Masquerade—With five previous albums already released, John’s daughter is already a well-known singer/songwriter apart from her dad’s iconic status. Her new one, Forever, pushes her Americana into more psychedelic areas with a thicker, more ominous sound. It’s probably the rawest of the lot too, aided by being recorded in her home studio. Think the louder side of Juliana Hatfield as a comparison and you’re close to Hiatt’s tougher yet melodic rocking, which makes her a good fit for this grungier venue. — Hal Horowitz
