Georgia Mineral Society 57th Mother's Day Gem and Mineral Show.   May 8 thru 10, Cobb County Civic Center, 548 South Marietta Pkwy, Marietta, GA.  Admission is free.  Starts Friday from 10-6, Satuday 10-6 and Sunday 10-5.  There will be 35 vendors selling minerals, fossils, jewelry and related artisan creations, those folks have some fantastic things.  Grab bags full of minerals and fossils are available for $4.00.  Be sure to sign up for the door prizes which are given away several times per hour.  Also there will be a silent auction every 2 hours throughout the day with amazing items up for bid.  Demonstations and interactive classes going on throughout the weekend.
