Walter Trout, City Winery—Blues rocking journeyman Trout has been through the trenches, both musical and otherwise (he survived a 2013 liver transplant that caused brain damage, causing him to relearn how to walk, talk and play guitar), but is a fighter (his 2024 album was titled Survivor Blues) who treats every day like a gift. He has released six albums since recovering with 2024s emotionally riveting Broken the most recent.
