Welcome to the region of authors! Georgia Writers Museum is committed to continuing the legacy of great writers through the 4th Annual Writers Retreat: “Write on the Lake” on February 21-23, 2025. This event will draw 20 renowned authors from all over the South to conduct workshops, panels, and networking uniquely designed for aspiring and experienced writers. If you are eager to follow in the footsteps of Alice Walker, Philip Lee Williams, or poet Sidney Lanier, all of whom resided in the area, this is the event to begin your journey.
