Event Description

SECRET TOWNS
“From the suburbs to the city of Atlanta, brings Secret Towns. Started in 2018, this creative project started by singer and guitarist Luke Thornton grew overtime into a full group, starting with bassist Sam Pena, drummer Harry Dulaney and then joined by keyboardist Irving Molefe and guitarist John Burns. Combining lush atmospheres and psychedelic pop, they started playing shows all over Atlanta’s music scene. In 2020 the band released their debut EP, ‘Small Hours’ right when the world was about to change. In the midst of this, the band was slowly able to put together and record their first album, ‘Nightlights’, an album documenting suburban melancholia. Their second album, “Summerland” was recorded and mixed by Ben Etter at Maze Studio, explores their own city of Atlanta particularly during the summer season, and the struggle to maintain connection to our homes and the people we know with the impact of growing economic inequality, environmental destruction, and finding meaning in a flood of content. “Summerland” is an elusive and ethereal idea of what we hope and feel for those people and places while struggling with constant change. Secret Towns means to crystallize a time and place so that they can live beyond just being memories, whatever changes may come.”

El Dingo

FEASTER
Feaster is a Philly based cosmic psych-punk gumbo quartet. They’re live performances have been described as a ‘full-on dimensional collapse’.
